Prestige Magazine Cover And Article On Mr G.S Sareen, Founder Of Omni United Pte Ltd

Singapore, 23 June 2013 – Bronson Motorsports and Radar Tires Racing were cautiously optimistic heading back into the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) this weekend at Miller Motorsports Park following last month’s SCORE International Baja 500 Class 10 win. The team was feeling a little déjà vu during Saturday’s Round 7 with spins and multiple hits from competitors, ultimately finishing 11th in the ProLite Unlimited race.

Bronson Motorsports owner/driver Mike Johnson’s struggles started early in the day. Johnson qualified 21st of the 25 ProLite competitors as a result of a soft roll during his first lap of qualifying. He adjusted the No. 31 Bronson Motorsports Toyota Tacoma sponsored by Radar Tires and completed the session. Although disappointed in the qualifying position, Johnson is familiar with passing trucks in the ProLite field and was confident heading into the race. During the 14-lap race, Johnson reached as high as 10th position before being spun in Turn 4 on the ninth lap. Johnson recovered from the spin and returned to the field in 14th position. As in similar races, Johnson felt like he was racing in a pinball machine versus the Utah dirt track. After being hit multiple times from the competition, both left and right suspension components were bent. As he was crossing the finish line, Johnson and another competitor pushed each other to the finish since both trucks were hooked entwined.

“We were looking forward to racing at Miller Motorsports Park this weekend with the Radar Tires Racing Toyota and had high expectations,” Mike Johnson said. “We have a great race truck and the team has been working overtime in the hopes of a podium finish. We just keep running into bad luck. This was a very disappointing day. Off road racing is a tough sport but the contact during today’s race was just over the top. It seems like we are constantly the pinball. We’ll get the Radar Tires truck back together and will be more aggressive on Sunday.”

The ProLite Unlimited race truck was repaired overnight in preparation for LOORRS Round 8 at Miller Motorsports Park on Sunday, June 23. LOORRS ProLite Round 8 qualifying is on Sunday morning at 11:00 am with the race scheduled to start at 3:45 pm.

The two-day event at Miller Motorsports Park takes place on the five-turn, 0.8-mile four-turn, 0.9- mile dirt track and features off-road racing on both Saturday and Sunday. Radar Tires, Bronson Motorsports and Johnson will compete in both races this weekend.

The size 32X11.50R15 Radar Renegade R5 tires this weekend will feature the Breast Cancer Research Foundation pink ribbon logo. For every Radar tire sold, Omni United will donate $5 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) with a minimum annual donation of $200,000 and a maximum donation of $250,000.

Off-road motorsports was chosen by the newly-formed Radar Racing team to showcase the Renegade R5 M/T tire, which features open blocks for mud dispersion, deep tread blocks, and reinforced shoulders. This tread pattern and rigorous construction is ideal for the surfaces encountered on short course tracks such as Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California and Firebird Raceway in Chandler, Arizona as well as the open desert of Baja California in the legendary SCORE Baja 1000, the most iconic of all off-road races.
