Singapore, 16thMarch 2026 – Omni United today announced the appointment of Dr. Mika Lahtinen as Associate Vice President, Raw Materials and Compounding, further strengthening the company’s technical capabilities and innovation roadmap for its flagship brand, Radar Tyres.
Dr. Lahtinen brings more than 20 years of experience in tyre material innovation, with deep expertise in the development of advanced rubber compounds and raw material technologies. In his new role, he will lead Omni United’s raw materials strategy and compound development, enabling a more scientific and integrated approach to materials development, research and rubber compounding across the Radar Tyres portfolio. His expertise will play a key role in further advancing compound technology to enhance tyre performance, durability, and safety.
Prior to joining Omni United, Dr. Lahtinen held senior roles in global tyre and materials companies. He previously led material development at Nokian Tyres and spearheaded global technology development for tyre oils at Nynas, working across Europe and Asia. He holds a PhD in Polymer Materials Technology and is widely recognized as a leading expert in tyre materials and compound innovation.
